About Us
TouchPoll Jamaica is an authorized distributor for TouchPoll, Inc., since 2004. TPI World Headquarters are located in Winter Park , FL and has over 30 licensed distributors around the world, including Jamaica.
TouchPoll, Inc. was originally founded in 1976 as United Research (UR), which created the very first mechanical opinion research machine, and later developed the first chip-driven polling center which was featured in the Knoxville World's Fair. In 1984, the company name changed to Special Events Research (SER) to better reflect the nature of most of its work, and soon created the first portable computerized polling system. In 1989, SER introduced the world's first interactive touchscreen opinion collection equipment. TouchPoll has been owned by SER, and, eventually, it became the parent company.

Where and why Touchscreen is used?
Using TouchPoll is intercept polling; We intercept respondents who answer questions by touching answers right on the monitor…simple, effective, and accurate!
Think about it…if respondents enter in their own answers, keypunching of data is completely eliminated. Believe it or not, half of the “margin of sampling error” is due to sloppy keypunching of results. Plus, respondents are far more likely to be honest when choosing answers to sensitive questions, so the data is more accurate in every way.
Since respondents are “fed” new questions interactively, the whole process is fast—literally 10 times faster than clipboards and phone surveys. And, being interactive, those being polled are also being probed deeply about issues, since, when they answer each question, they can be “branched” or “treed” to questions as a result of a previous answer.
You’ve heard of “random sampling”. Interactive touchscreen research is the best random selector, since studies have proved that every demographic group is attracted to the survey stations. That means your results are highly reliable—seniors and high-income earners alike (the two toughest demographics to survey) enjoy the touchscreen process, and have actually stood in line to do it! That, together with “kid-proofing”, makes TouchPoll systems the choice for many firms.
Scientific research has shown that touchscreen is preferred by respondents seven to one over other more traditional methods. It’s no wonder why we experience very successful meetings with clients—it’s actually a pleasure to meet with them, something most businesses can’t experience.
Note: When asked to participate, 91% of all respondents say yes. In the mall, 82% of all people who see a clipboard avoid it! Enough said.
