In the broadest sense, the TouchPoll Survey System permits the anonymous gathering of survey response data
from individuals under just about any circumstance. Whether the survey questions are displayed on a hand-held
device, a counter top unit, or a stand-alone kiosk, all the survey respondent has to do is touch a computer screen
to indicate his or her answers of choice.

Traditional polling or survey methods included clipboard surveys, phone polls, mail-out questionnaires,
comment cards, focus groups and Internet research. Problems with these methods include lack of response,
large amount of time required to poll, large amount of time required for keypunching of data, interviewer bias and
the overall expense.

TouchPoll is a software system used on a touch screen computer, where respondents can "touch" their answer
